EcoLight®T5 (Retrofit Fixture) is a new technology of T5 electronic ballast incorporated in a unique aluminum fixture. It is designed to retrofit the old fluorescent system (fixtures/fittings/luminaries) resulting in savings of up to 50%.
The Retrofit Fixture is developed to provide the best solution by upgrading conventional luminaries to the latest T5 system. EcoLight®T5 complies with T8, T9, T10 and T12 fluorescent lamp technology and provides numerous immediate and lasting benefits including: energy savings, short payback period, quick installation, better light quality, eye protection, high power factor, etc.
By using EcoLight®T5 “FIXTURE IN FIXTURE” concept, installation is hassle-free and the initial investment is very low. The patented design is created by mounting a standard T5 fluorescent tube on a slim aluminum housing to form a complete unit. No starter is required and installation is as easy as retrofitting a normal fluorescent tube.
EcoLight®T5 products can be regarded as standard T5 luminaries with special end-cap connectors which allow for instant installation. The end-caps unique rotational design makes the product suitable for all existing luminaries with different wall-mounting angle.
EcoLight®T5 is the most innovative energy saving device in the lighting industry. By utilizing proven PFC and SMT technology, delicate electronic components and well-known technology in its electronic ballast, it has been widely applied to retrofit Fluorescent Tube Lamp (FTL) fixtures/fittings/luminaries.
EcoLight®T5 is designed to protect the environment and people. It not only saves energy up to 50%, but also preserves the existing fixtures from being discarded. The new eye protection technology generates a high operation frequency up to 35,000 Hz. Without flickering, it will not harm human vision.
T5 lamps use 40% less glass and 80% less mercury than in a traditional fluorescent tube. Less metal is
